Please verify there is network\r\n               connectivity, the server is running and has registered it's\r\n               listening port, and there are no firewalls blocking traffic to\r\n               the destination.<\/pre>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/henrik.familiendamgaard.dk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/SCOM_NoConnectionToManagementServer.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-34\" title=\"SCOM_NoConnectionToManagementServer\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/henrik.familiendamgaard.dk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/SCOM_NoConnectionToManagementServer.jpg\" width=\"632\" height=\"440\" srcset=\"http:\/\/henrik.familiendamgaard.dk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/SCOM_NoConnectionToManagementServer.jpg 632w, http:\/\/henrik.familiendamgaard.dk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/SCOM_NoConnectionToManagementServer-300x208.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 632px) 100vw, 632px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is because the agent is unable to connect to Management Server. When connection fails no data will be sent to the Management Server, and\u00a0typically\u00a0no errors indicating connection failed will show up at the Management Server event log.<\/p>\n<p>Verify agent can resolve Management Server adress and no extra characters(space) are present in the name specified during Agent installation.<\/p>\n<p>In the picture above the agent is trying to connect to a Management Server which has a space before and after the FQDN.
